P.R.A.Y. invites you to submit a story and photograph for our “Spotlight” feature. We want to celebrate your achievements and encourage others through your example. Of particular interest are personal testimonies, stories how children and adults have been impacted by the program, unique service projects, special family moments, favorite memories, and exceptional work. We welcome stories about youth recipients, mentors, adult award recipients, and counselors. A photograph is required, as well as a photo release. Only first names will be posted online.  Here are other considerations: 

• Email and Digital Photos – We prefer that stories be sent via email with digital photos attached. Emails should be sent to debh@praypub.org. Put “Spotlight” in the subject line.

• Photo Release Forms – Photos must have signed release forms from parents/guardians in order to be posted on the P.R.A.Y. website. Group pictures must have a release form for every person in the picture.  You can sign the release form and then scan it to include it in the email with the story and photos, or you can mail the signed release form along with a printed copy of the email (this will allow P.R.A.Y. to match the release forms with the correct story and photos).

• Photographs – Choose photos that show people up close and in plenty of light. Please list names of people and describe the photo. Feel free to submit more than one photo. Photos showing community service, with the family, in uniform, receiving an award, showing work or something that was made, or with a counselor or pastor are appropriate.

• Drawings – A scanned page from a child’s workbook or colorful artwork may be submitted in addition to a photograph. (Please avoid submitting any work that prominently displays the child’s last name.)
